Petit Appartement Jourdan EU

A charming apartment in a very good part of Brussels, close to the lively Jourdan square and the European institutions. Public transport to/from the Zaventem airport is excellent. You don't have to climb stairs, which might be demanding in the traditionally super narrow and steep stairways of typical Brussels buildings. The furniture is practical, the bed is comfortable for one person. The bathroom is nice, clean and well thought out, despite its small size. The towels and toiletries provided are of reasonable quality. I particularly liked the cozy ambience and the pleasant color harmony of the interior, including the simple but warm lights.

Unfortunately I spent five days in the apartment during a summer heatwave, and it caused problems. 1) There was a fan in the apartment, but one blade was missing. It meant that performance was poor, and the little device was noisy and resonant because of the unbalanced rotation. 2) I sent two messages to the owner/manager in the Booking system, asking for a replacement, but there was absolutely no answer. I managed it myself then in a Brico not far away, but it's not a good sign that the owner/manager does not reply to your "emergency" message at all. 3) Most of the time it's great that the apartment is on the ground floor. Except in a heatwave, when you cannot sleep with the windows open. More musings: the bed is probably not wide enough for two people. The fridge had no deep freezer section.

Mieszkanie świetnie zlokalizowane tuż przy przystanku autobusu 34 który jedzie do centrum miasta i tuż przy uroczym placu na którym dwa razy w tygodniu jest rynek gdzie można kupić owoce warzywa kwiaty i lokalne produkty. W pobliżu sklepy knajpki piekarnie. Jednocześnie spokojne i ciche miejsce. Podczas naszego pobytu był bardzo upalnie w Brukseli a w mieszkaniu usytuowanym na parterze kamienicy panowała przyjemna temperatura. Latwy dostęp do apartamentu dobry kontakt z obsługą w mieszkaniu jest wszystko co może być potrzebne podczas krótkiego pobytu.

There was no hot water one day till morning. No reaction from owner, no remedies for such essential problem. Shame.

It is very easy to collect the keys. Electronic lock with simple passwords.

La posizione è comoda per muoverti verso il centro e verso i palazzi della Comunità Europea. La stanza era pulita così come il bagno. Facile di raggiungere. Sicuramente per chi va in vacanza, non deve alzarsi presto per lavorare e non per lavoro potrebbe essere il caso.

L’abitazione si affaccia direttamente sulla strada, con una grande finestra a livello del marciapiede. Purtroppo il letto è posizionato proprio accanto alla finestra, per cui si sentono chiaramente sia il rumore delle auto sia quello dei passanti. Inoltre, l’altra stanza dell’Airbnb si trovava sopra la mia camera e i rumori provenienti dal piano superiore erano molto percepibili. Purtroppo, durante il mio soggiorno, gli ospiti del piano di sopra hanno fatto festa fino a tarda notte, rendendo difficile riposare bene. Inoltre, a differenza di altri Airbnb in cui ho soggiornato, non era disponibile nemmeno il caffè, un piccolo servizio che solitamente viene apprezzato dagli ospiti.
