Exclusive two-level apartment with private terrace on the canal Brussels

It was clean

The toilet has a disgusting smell and you cannot be upstairs . There used to be no view of the canal as mentioned in the website.

Unacceptable heat in west-facing upper room (no external shades covering west-facing windows, with evening temperature in the room at 30 C) Booking desription omitted that the lower floor is street level, making it impossible to open the blinds, with so much noise from the street that you have to keep your windows shut here and upstairs. Very poor sound insulation overall (main door bangs shut waking up even the dead; even with windows shut, you hear the bass beats of the cars impatiently waiting at the traffic signs in front of them). Worse of all, owner communication is just not acceptable. Starting with a mail one week AHEAD of our stay thanking us for it and reminding us to clear the room 6 days before we checked in, and ending with total silence when asking questions during our stay. TO BE AVOIDED IN HOT MONTHS AND WHEN YOU ARE MORE THAN 4. And perhaps if you expect that “Exclusive” means what it says.

The instructions were exactly as the email that we received the day prior to check in. Matched the pictures. Very comfortable. Roomy.

A clothes dryer would be nice.

Easy check-in and great communication.

The location and the house is newly renovated. It felt cozy.
