Apartment in the heart of wexford town

Cosy one bed apartment in a great location in Wexford town. I came home for Christmas for a few days, and this was perfect for my boyfriend and I. The hosts were super responsive, accommodating with early check in, I really felt at home here. It was so convenient to have the kitchen when travelling! They offered free toiletries (nothing fancy!), free bottle of water and a white wine, which was perfect for us. Fresh bedding and towels with extras available.

Nothing we didn't like as such, just some improvements that could enhance the overall experience.. We used the pull out bed in the living room to chill out one of the evenings but found it uncomfortable, so suggest changing the mattress here. Also, it was a little musty. We couldn't figure out how to turn the heater on in the bedroom, but to be honest, the heater in the lounge was sufficient to heat the whole apartment.. and I like to be cosy! Also, the plug to the left-hand side of the bed seemed to be blocked as we couldn't plug anything into one side of the plug socket.. I think someone must have broken their plug prior!

Everything. Great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable and with everything you might need for a short or even a long stay. Very helpful owner, easy to contact.

Besonders gute Lage zum Hafen von Wexford. Bars und Restaurants direkt nebenan. Der Vermieter hatte das Doppelbett und das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer bereits bezogen bei Anreise. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Für ein Wochenende genau die richtige Wohnung.

Durch ein Parkhaus, direkt gegenüber! wurde man regelmäßig um den Schlaf gebracht. Der Wasserhahn im Badezimmer hat kaum Druck aufgebaut. Händewaschen und Zähneputzen war deshalb etwas umständlich.

Great easy communication with owner. Easy check in and out. Spotlessly clean and smelled great as soon as you walked in. Comfy bed. Bottle of wine and water left by host which was a lovely touch to add. Parking right outside in designated car park. Highly recommend.

Water pressure very low.

Apartment is a very convenient short walk to the high street and harbour front. Nice touch to leave a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Owner was very helpful in giving us advice about the confusing toll system coming from Northern Ireland through Dublin. He was also very kind in extending our check-out time, due to our late ferry home from Rosslare.

The water pressure in the bathroom was very very low, so it was frustrating trying to wash your hands or worse, to brush your teeth! The freezer door would not open due to the intense build-up of ice, thus causing the door to not close fully. We chipped away tons of ice in order to make the freezer usable again. To his credit, the owner did offer to help when told, but we thought it wasn't worth the effort.

The location was very central.
