The location is good, the host is attentive, the apartment has everything we needed, however we didn’t use the cooker and washing machine. There was Netflix on the TV and we enjoyed a few nights watching documentaries and learning about history after having a day to explore Budapest.

1. When we arrived, there were wet beddings hanging on the drying rack which had obviously just been washed after the previous guests. We found it pretty odd that it wasn’t taken away and getting dried somewhere else rather than leaving in the same room where the current guests are staying. This is one of the reasons that we didn’t bother to use the washing machine. 2. There was a very strong mould smell in the entire apartment, even if we had the dehumidifier on the whole time but the smell stayed. 3. There was a security camera above the front door, which didn’t bother us that much and understandable as we have them back home in our house too. However, what made us feel super uncomfortable was that there was a small panel of the window was obviously deliberately not fostered where the camera was located. Although the camera was facing out but we know they are designed to be wide angled, we felt like each time we walked to the kitchen and bathroom area we had been watched (maybe not) because we had to walk pass that window. (I will attach a photo of it) 4. The beddings had really bad smell (we reckon it was due to being dried on the rack inside a mould smell filled room) that we couldn’t even cover ourselves up to the shoulder as we felt very uncomfortable and it really bothered us.

An excellent option for a few nights. Wi-Fi, Netflix Decent kitchen equipment

That place is not the best option for allergic people. There is mold and moisture in the bathroom. Moisture scent you are going to feel right after opening the doors.

I am a Hungarian living abroad, so I was visiting my hometown which I know quite well. Believe me, it is really in a central location, however it was also very quite as the flat looks into an inner patio. The check-in/check-out was really easy with the key box. Also, I have to mention the cleanliness of the flat, it was inmaculate. I would recommend this place for loners or couples when visiting the city. As a tourist you will be able to see everything with tram nr 4-6, which runs all-day-long.

It has a bit of a special smell, but it is not at all disturbing, more about an old building :)

Location was pretty convenient. Everything was close. 10 min walk from the bars and still a quiet area. 4 mins away from the famous New York Cafe. 10min away from the famous Szimpla Kert, and Instant- Fogos Complex. 14mins away from the famous Synagogue and less than 30min walk from the city center. The apartment was clean and new, while the host was very welcoming and responsive to communication. Loved it! Would definitely consider to come back again.
