Great base for exploring northwest coast

The accommodation was clean & tidy with plenty of room for everyone.

Shower rose could be bigger & higher & no clock in the place .

The attention to detail was second to none, it was cosy, warm, comfortable, charming and beautifully and tastefully decorated. The bedrooms were beautifully presented, beds super comfortable and cosy... We all loved the cottage. Kitchen was great and provided all the necessary equipment to make great meals and the lounge was very comfortable and relaxing... In all, Lylahs By The Sea was a great space to simply chill with family.

There was nothing to dislike.

Nicely presented bedrooms and general decor. We appreciated the use of a washing machine. Nice tea and coffee, and a well equipped kitchen.

Beyond expectations and felt like home as there's everything we need to have during our stay. Great recommendations on what to do around the town and food. Highly recommend.

The accommodation is very low key in terms of external appearance, but once we walked in, we were so delighted with the way the apartment was furnished and set up. We loved the way the owners retained some elements of 60s/70s design, but updated it in the kitchen and bathroom. The owners have clearly put lots of thought into making this comfortable for visitors, including a night light in the hallway. The location was also good, as Wynyard is a lovely town.

The main bed was a bit high, which is only a concern for those who might have ability/health issues, but was very comfortable. Soap in the shower would have been good to have.
