Erkel Boutique Apartment–Chic flat by Market Hall

Very high quality, well thought out refurb, perfect for a short trip. Everything you might need is provided. Location is quiet but surrounded by coffee shops, bars, restaurants and short walk to others/other districts - will definitely stay here again

Gabor met us at the property on arrival, couldn’t have been easier! The apartment is in a lovely old building, Gabor took time to explain the history and walked us around the beautiful renovation. Everything is new and clean, the apartment has everything you could need, including umbrellas! Although with 4 days of bright sunshine, we didn’t need them. Easy walk to supermarkets, bars and restaurants and a 5 minute stroll to the Danube. We walked for miles, loved every step, highly recommended.

An exceptional host who could not do enough to accommodate us during our stay. Spotless and welcoming apartment with modern appliances and creative design. Positioned in a good location for easy access to both Buda and Pest and in walking distance of all the main attractions (mild fitness required). The local area was relatively clean and quiet during the evenings. Invaluable recommendations from the host for eateries, bars and local culture.

This property is superb - it has everything you need (and more) and I’m usually rather hard to please.

Nothing at all.

The facilities available within the apartment were brilliant, Gabor had thought of everything - travel plugs, umbrellas, rain macks, extra toilet paper, washer and dryer, hair dryer and more. Even the TV was set up with the majority of streaming networks signed in and free to use. The apartment was clean, easily accessible from the street to the lift (3rd floor) But note the bed is accessible via a staircase, situated atop of the blue kitchen cabinets. Incredibly comfy bed and easily accessible if you are physically mobile. The location for us was great. It was quiet, and enabled quick access to the metro and buses to reach the further reaches of the city. We'd planned to do a lot of exploring so walking for us was no big deal.

Gabor is a great host. On arrival we were shown round on a detailed tour where everything was, and how to use things that we need for our stay. He also went out of his way to send us a detailed list of recommendations for dinner, lunch and drinks which I thought was a really nice touch. The apartment itself is amazing it’s super clean and super stylish and everything has been thought out down to the little details. The location is great and in close, walking distance to everything you need. Our stay with amazing and if we return to Budapest, I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.
