The only positive aspect was the location.

We tried to stay at Hello Downtown Apartment, and unfortunately, upon arrival, we found that the apartment was not clean. Specifically: The fridge was dirty and had hair inside. The entrance area was untidy, with towels that smelled unpleasant. The towels and bathroom had a moldy odor. The pillows were dirty. There was dust on the furniture. The bed sheets looked like someone had already slept in them. The floor was sticky and had an unidentified gel or wax substance. The walls were very dirty. I understand you can’t repaint after every guest, but it looked like there had been a “feet on the walls” contest. We have stayed in Budapest many times, and it was the first experience like this, we are not overly demanding guests, but basic cleanliness is essential. Unfortunately, the condition of the apartment made it impossible for us to stay, and we left. For us, it was an unpleasant experience and a waste of money. We tried to talk to the host at first she responded, but after we sent her proof that the apartment was dirty, she stopped responding.
