Daphne Deluxe Apartment

I stayed with my two children. The house was very clean. Host Anita met us. He explained and showed us in detail how to enter the house. He gave information about the rules. She shared phone number so we could reach her whenever we needed. The house is very close to the city's tourist attractions such as Andrassy street, heroes' square, city park, shopping center. We also explored the whole of Budapest on foot. It is also in a suitable location for this. There is a bakery at the entrance of the house. The house is on a very lively street and all the shops needed are here. The house has a large usable area and high ceilings. I advise. We had a comfortable stay for 4 nights. Thank you Anita. The location is wonderful, you can easily reach by foot anywhere in the city centre and it is also very well connected by public transport to access the train stations and airport. The host was very friendly and happy to assist with any questions. I highly recommend this for other travellers.

Fantastic location only few minutes walking from Nyugati train station, but still very quiet. Everything was close to the apartment, many restaurants and shops in the street. Very nice owner and nice communication, we could come earlier than the official check-in time. The apartment was clean and everything functional.

Problems with Wi-Fi connection, not so comfortable beds.

Clean , newly renovated, central

I had a very strange experience, which was rather scary. On the first day, I felt cold so I sent a message to ask if we could make it warmer, second evening after having no reply I phoned up the host to ask if there was anyway we could have the place heated in the evening. The host explained that it was central heating and this was not possible. I said I understood and hung up. 10 minutes later I receive a phone call from a man who addressed me by my name. I thought he was a technician to help with the heating, so I responded that it was me and he started verbally abusing me ordering me to leave the residence by morning, even though I had paid for two more days. I sent a message again to the host through Booking.com , asking her why this was happening. Again, no immediate response. Luckily I had a Hungarian work colleague who then called her as I thought it might be a language issue . The host said she was shocked to hear this and did not know who the phone number belonged to and that I could stay on. I stayed on with some trepidation. This put a damper on the experience. Also, because on the way out the following morning, I realized somebody had broken the front door of the block by kicking in one of the panels to be able to open from the outside.

Perfect location, great host

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, we were pleasantly surprised by how tall the ceileings were. The location was amazing, everything was in walking distance, and the building in which the apartment was in is a beautiful old building. The host, Anita, greeted us when we arrived and allowed us to check in earlier because of our flight, and she also extended our checkout time. All in all, it was a truly wonderful experience which exceeded our expectations.
