Stylish Apartment by the Vígszínház Theater

This place looked exactly like on the pictures. It was very comfortable and from a convenient distance from the train station. The first night was quite loud from the busy road in front of the building, however the next day we realised the windows were not properly shut - after fixing that, the apartment was a lot more quiet. The check-in and check-out were very easy, but I can see how some may struggle if they never worked with a lockbox. We came mainly for the theatre, which was right next door, so most probably we will come back to this stay again, because overall we were very satisfied.

The beds were not the most comfortable, the bathroom had a bit of a smell (but this is typical for Budapest apartments, the plumbing is not great in the whole city) and the apartman was a bit hot at times. We couldn't find a way how to regulate the temperature, but maybe there was a way - not sure though, there weren't any instructions. Upon our arrival the laundry (bed sheets) was drying in the bathroom, probably from the previous gests (the cleaning lady left just before we arrived), but it took up almost all the space and it was a tiny bit weird.

Very convenient location. The apartment is in an old building with a vintage elevator, which added charm to the stay. Comfortable bed. The photos correspond to reality.
