The apartment was clean. The photos were accurate. We liked that we were able to use the stove fireplace (wood was available). There was an issue that had to be resolved with a bunch of messaging back and forth, but in the end it was resolved, and for that we are still appreciative. Having a kitchen was nice but we didn’t really use it.

When we made the booking on booking.com, we specifically requested the sofa bed be set up already because we prepaid for 5 people to use the apartment. When we arrived, it wasn’t set up. After a long day of travel, making the bed is not our idea of a good start to our vacation. They said it would be easy, it’s just 5 minutes to do it… but we really needed help especially with a sofa bed and folding bed that we were unfamiliar with (it was difficult to open the couch, we didn’t want to use much force as it might break). After a lot of messaging (had to convince them why this is their issue to fix), someone finally did come to make the bed. It was a friendly lady who chatted about Zermatt willingly while she put on 3 sets of sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers. All in all it was an hour’s worth of stress that both parties didn’t have to experience had the initial request been read and fulfilled.

You can see the Matterhorn from the living room couch and the balcony. The location is excellent -- very central yet quiet, just about 200m from the bus stop and just across from the center with the shops etc. The apartment has everything you need including a Nespresso machine. Super clean too.
