A great apartment in a great location

Our Basecamp Apartment was located on the South side of Zermatt, just below the Sunnegga elevator, our 4BR apartment named Matterhorn, was perfect for our party of 7. The two Master bedrooms with a wraparound balcony and floor to ceiling glass window/doors provided a sunrise view of the valley, surrounding mountains and the main attraction. Simply stunning. The newly renovated apartment, with a very well stocked kitchen (good pots, pans, knives, silverware, dishes and glassware for 12) and it’s large dining table, was a great ‘basecamp’ for our crew. It was a ~10 min walk to everything. Rebekka, our host, was excellent; extremely communicative before and after booking and throughout our stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. She responded to every request quickly and positively. Basecamp transported us to and from the train station, which eased our Zermatt travel experience, which was very logistics-heavy otherwise. We plan to return to Zermatt and to Basecamp Apartments.

360 panoramic Matterhorn view from every corner of this house, from bedroom, bathroom, living room or the private balcony. Kitchen was well equipped, property is well maintained with tip top cleanliness. Walking distance to the tourist spot and Migros supermarket.

road is a little steep and hilly. Good for a normal walk but if you carry with lots of luggage, suggest to use e Taxi, fare vary from CHF20-30.

Excellent in every way - good location, spacious, clean, comfortable, great views, well equipped

The view was amazing, had a really great view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. Facilities in the apartment was great as well, eg. cutleries and basic cooking equipment were all provided for us to cook our own meals.

The key collection process could have been made clearer. There were some miscommunication involved that made the process of finding the apartment difficult. Maybe next time, it would be better to include photos on the location of the apartment.

Perfect location to reach the slopes quickly. 10min away by foot from the center but away from noise. The view from our appartement was breathtaking, spot on the Matterhorn and the valley without obstruction so that we watched new year fireworks from our terrace.
