Cosy apartman in green Buda

Very nice and cozy. The patio is a huge advantage. The host is welcoming and super nice. This is a serene residential neighborhood, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Fantastic assistance and guidance

I liked the apartment and the neighbourhood more than the Budapest center. A lot of space. It can be great for even a family of two people. Great decor, fantastic views of the garden, safe and calm. We had breakfasts outside in the courtyard despite of the fact it was almost mid of October. It is far from the historical center but it is very easy to get anyway by public transport in 30-40 minutes. So after a noisy center we could relax in a safe and respectable district.

There is no microwave, but you have any kitchen ware.

I guess it was easy to collect the keys. That's about it.

When I booked the apartment, which was kind of at the last minute, due to other accommodation falling through, I got a message stating that the host was sorry and that she didn't actually mean to put the apartment as active on that day, as renovations were going on, so I would have to checkout by 7am. Okay, I accepted that. The apartment was quite old, but well kept. However, there was an ant infestation. When I texted the host to advise her, all I was told was that there was spray in a white cabinet somewhere. No apology, no help, nothing. The next day, very soon after 7 the host, of course, made sure I checked out bright and early. I was thanked for my understanding of the entire situation and was offered a free night's accommodation "next time I would like to come". Clearly, the host thought I was leaving Budapest very soon and would not be claiming the free night she offered, little did she know that was not the case. I told the host I'd be here for a while and would love to take the free night she offered. Suddenly, the conditions around the offer changed - in order to get the free night, I had to book at least two more nights and it is "high season", so she couldn't fit me in. Clearly, the host was never actually willing to make good on her offer of apology and simply made it, in order to not get a bad review and under the assumption I would be out of Budapest very shortly and not able to claim her fake offer. The location was not great. Far from many things. In order for you to get to the accommodation you need to travel fairly far out of the city and carry the bags up a huge hill.

The location, with birds singing in the garden. The apartment is large, clean and equipped with everything you need.

House rules seems quite peculiar.

Clean, quiet, good smelling property with tasteful furnishing. Perfect for two people.

Didn't like the fact that i don't have a property like that (or any kind of property in fact) in my home city
