We stayed just one night, arriving around 9 PM. The room was in the basement, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with instant coffee, teas, and a kettle, and in the bathroom we had shower gel and fresh towels provided. The bed was a bit squeaky with every movement, but we were so tired that it didn’t really bother us. Overall, a pleasant stay and we appreciated the attention to small details.

Everything was ok for one night.

There was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom, as if something was rotten. Moreover, it is on the underground floor and there is a really strong moldy smell in the entire apartment but specially in the big old closet. Not only the property is in poor conditions, but also the owners and staff were extremely invasive. I booked the property so my family could stay in Budapest since there was no space in my apartment to accommodate them. I went to help them with the check-in and someone from the team was controlling everything, even though it was supposed to be a self-check-in. When they saw four people entering, instead of the three (which was the number on the reservation) and they accused me, without even asking what was going on. I really do not recommend this place.

The proximity to the city centre Tibor who tried to fix the situation

It was dirty, old and smelled like sewer and mold. The parking is not easily available, you can't leave when you want (the gate must be opened by the host). Very very loud, old and dirty refrigerator. We stayed less than 24 hours and it was by far the worst place that I ever had the misfortune to book.

The location of the apartment is okay, it's not too far away from Budapest attractions. The parking is great, it's inside of the building complex so it's really safe. The bed is very comfy and the aparment is very spacious. There is enough of kichenware and kitchen appliances.

We only got 2 towels even tough we booked the apartment for 2 nights for 2 adults and a child. Also, there was not enough pillows and covers. The apartment is in the basement of the building so there is almost none of daylight and fresh air. It smells like sewage, especially in the bathroom. It's full of dust and mites and we're alergic, so we sneezed the whole time we were at the apartment. The gate for the car is locked and you need to call the owner when you want to go out with the car.

The apartment looks better than on the pictures. It is quite bright and spacious. The beddig was clean and smelled nice. If you get cold easily make sure to ask for extra blankets during the winter because the one we had was pretty thin. We did put the heating on during the night so we were not cold, but just keep this in mind. We did not use anything in the kitchen because we only stayed for one night so I am unable to share any details about the appliances.

The apartment is kind of half in the basement. There are windows on both the living room/kitchen and the bedroom but you are basically looking out at the tires of parked cars outside in the yard. It is not sparkling clean, but also not dirty, the furniture is retro so if that is not your style it might seem dirty for you. The biggest issue was the sewer smell in the bathroom, probably because the apartment is in the basement but if you close the toilet door and the bathroom door it does not seep into the bedroom that much. Also there is a quiet beeping sound that is happening every 10 seconds or so but we were not able to figure out what it is and it did not bother us when falling asleep but if repetitive sound bothers you then this can be annoying.
