Modern Central Apartment

Communication with hosts was excellent. The apartment is within walking distance of many attractions. It is also well served by public transport. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of maps and tourist guides provided.

It is a bit dark inside because the apartment faces into a courtyard.

- The place looks exactly like in the photos. - Hosts are really friendly, respond quickly and really try to meet your wishes. E.g., in my case, hosts could offer exceptional flexibility in terms of arrival+departure time. - Location: Opera, St. Istvan basilica, the Heroes Square and especially the House of Terror are accessible by feet (5-20mins). - Good transport connection with subway, bus, and tram stops nearby. - The house is a typical historical building itself - for ultimate Budapest experience - Floor heating is amazing (although it didn't work in the bathroom + on a narrow stripe of floor between entrance and bathroom)

- As written above, the bathroom only gets heated through a towel dryer. The bathroom felt somewhat cold on the first day. - The shower drain could be better. - The windows look at the inner yard, which means, there is less natural light. Perhaps not a big problem for tourists who rather came to see the city.

Location was in a quiet residential area but still close enough to walk to the main streets and bat's. Our hosts were fab and understanding as we had an hour delay on our flight. Lovely modern apartment with all the facilities we could require. Thank you.

Comfortable and clean apartment located in a central location. Ideal to explore Budapest and also enjoy a relaxing evening in!

Shower cubicle floor felt a bit uneven

This apartment is amazing and warrants the high rating it has on Booking. It has EVERYTHING you need. We let the owners know pretty much what time we expected to be there and they were at the apartment waiting. Really friendly, and very informative. The apartment is large with lots of space. Kitchen is well equipped. We didn't notice it missing anything. Bathroom was great, had great water pressure in the shower and had a clothes washing machine which made life very convenient and easy. The owners also provided some clothes washing powder so we didn't have to fork out the money for one wash. The internet worked great. I loved that the apartment is in an old building. It made it feel like we were living an authentic experience. There have been comments that the apartment was cold. The weather was cold while we were there and the apartment was a bit cold but we turned on the heater under the TV for a bit (was a bit worried it would heat the TV shelf and TV so we didn't leave it on long) and blankets were provided so I don't think there are any issues with cold. Don't be alarmed when you walk in and see the main courtyard. The apartment is in a totally safe building. Loved loved loved it. The location is brilliant. Right near the train station which made life easy for our train to Prague, and close to loads of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and an awesome shopping mall right near the station. We also walked to the Széchenyi Thermal Bath which was an easy 40 min walk from the apartment (and highly recommended).
