Minion & Snoopy Apartman

Cozy place, felt right at home. Good price. The location was good too (only minutes from the metro, tram and bus). Lidl and other stores are only two minutes walking for groceries. Host was very tentative the my requests and communicated well.

Since I was there during the heat wave and it was in the 40s, there was no air conditioning only a fan, but it still wasn't too bad.

David is incredibly friendly and always willing to answer any questions and help with any concerns. The location is strategic, very close to both the tram and the metro. The neighborhood is safe and secure. Additionally, there are various shops around, making everything conveniently accessible.

There is a lot of humidity, there isn't a single window in the entire apartment, even though the pictures show that there is one – that window is boarded up, the bathroom wasn't very clean and was full of used, nearly empty shampoos from previous guests; on the double bed there are two single-person covers...

We expected something else from the pictures :( The appartment was not that clean as we expected and it smelled of mold.

Not really much, just the location of the property.

The pictures were very deceiving due to heavy Photoshop editing. The property was in desperate need of some serious TLC (Tender care love). Some lights didn't even turn on, the towels looked like they had been reused since the dinosaurs roamed the earth and the flat was filthy overall with a strong odour of damp, dirt and insects everywhere. The bed was on a self-made wooden platform that dropped wood bits whenever we walked on it and we didn't feel very safe sleeping on it. We ended up moving out the next day as we were there to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and the place fell far below our expectations, especially in terms of hygiene. We contacted the host, who offered additional cleaning, but the flat was already super small with all our suitcases, so that wasn't a feasible solution. It should have been cleaned before our arrival, not after. We asked for at least some compensation, but he accused us of fabricating the facts. Well.. judge for yourself from our pictures. He claimed that the property met the standards of a €40 accommodation. I went to Hotel AKEAH for €50 the next night and had absolutely no issues, so we wished we had looked at hotels instead of apartments from the start. Not sure where all these positive comments are coming from.

What a great apartment, spacious, clean and comfy with all the necessary amenities. Getting in was extremely easy, as was leaving. The whole apartment felt very warm and fun, it was a very pleasant experience.
