Fraser Apartment

1. This apartment was a budget one. It came with some cons (obviously) that have been mentioned in 'What didn't you like ?' section. 2. The apartment was well equipped with all the amenities we needed. Kitchen had everything for cooking the meals . There was even a washing machine. The wet clothes you could dry with central heating (with temperature smart control). 3. An easy access to the shops (Lidl, Morrisons, etc.) and pubs/restaurants nearby. 4. A quite well working public transport. We used Stagecoach buses for exploring the area. There were different types of tickets available in reasonable prices, both for a single person and families (groups). Stagecoach have got their own app that I recommend to use. However, plan your trips in advance, as you can face the situation when the next bus to your destination is in over an hour time. 5. Aberdeen is surrounded by exceptionally beautiful places accessible with public transport. 6. Though we did not see our host in person, the communication was really good.

1. You cannot expect much in terms of apartment location, its surrounding, and the building itself. Apartment is located in the centre of Aberdeen, at the street that became busy (noisy) during the weekend evenings/nights. 2. The apartment had not been cleaned before we checked-in. When we let the host know about that, it appeared that the cleaner did not manage to get it done on time. However, the cleaner showed up shortly after we informed the host about the issue.

Key lock was very stiff to open, no sheets for sofa bed in lounge, not enough room for 4 people

Excellent location in the city center, perfect cleanliness, excellent communication with the owner with precise instructions for picking up and dropping off the key to the apartment. Apartment perfectly equipped with all amenities.

This is not the case

The apartment was comfortable and warm, I felt very at home there. The bed was fabulous, slept like a log! I found parking easy outside the apartment. I recommend this accommodation.

Strong smell of cigarettes when we walked in even though windows were open.
