The apartment overall is beautiful and overlooks a park. A truly liveable space and perfect for short and long term rental. It's great that there's so much space and light, everyone I've shown has commented on the grandeur. Steven was an attentive host with great tips and information. He kept in touch during my stay to make sure everything was ok and that I was comfortable. A nice touch for me was that there were some additional amenities such as shower gel, shampoo and Amazon Echo for example. These made my stay more enjoyable as I could listen to music properly and didn't have to faff around with little 100ml bottles that I seem to drop or destroy! There was also laundry detergent and fabric conditioner. The bed is extremely comfortable and the linen and towels were of good quality and laundered well. There's always hot water and great water pressure! There is a Spar (minimarket) about 3/4 minutes walk away so perfect for any self-catering needs. Within 10 minutes there is a metro station and a larger supermarket. I will be staying again, just maybe when the weather cools down.

It's really hard to mark down as it's just little things. These are not negatives really, just little touches that would have pushed 9/10 to 10/10. For most of the year I imagine the apartment stays cool and comfortable but I can't say I wasn't jealous of the neighbours who had AC. Given the open flow of the apartment and large doorways I really do think 1 single AC unit in the lounge would have been enough to keep the heat at bay. Of course with the heat the apartment felt like it was further away from things that it actually was so if it's heatwave season and you don't do well walking 20 minutes at 37°C it's worth being mindful of this. (I know the host can't change this but it's important). The showerhead is getting a bit tarnished so just for guest comfort it'd be nice if there was a new one. Also (may just be me) a nice touch would be changing the washing up sponge for the dishes between guests and just making sure the kitchen looks as clean as possible where it's slightly older and has been previously loved by an avid chef (perfectly functional though and would work well for hosting).
