Almassy View

This was by far my best stay in Budapest! I wish i had more days in this house. Good price, perfect house! I cannot describe how good inside the house was decorated and equipped and additionally location is very central. Host was the best as well! He was kind and accommodated my request. I will be for sure coming back again and recommend everyone to book this house!

It is a lovely, airy, spacious apartment with a very good and convenient location in the city. The host was very helpful before, during and after the stay, my messages have benn answered very fast.

The following point didn't affected my stay, it's just an information just in case someone is sensitive: because of the spacious rooms it took a while to heat up the apartment in cold times. Nevertheless it / the heating worked just fine :)

A home away from home. You would feel warm and nice inside the place . it is unlike the empty usual rental apartment that look like ikea badic design. here you will feel just at home. With some arts, books, carpets live plants , everything looks just good..

With my luggage, I would be happy if there was a elevator. It is on the first floor, but it is a high first floor...

We enjoyed staying at Almassy View - Steve was helpful we letting us check in early as we arrived from Australia all jet lagged early in the morning and it was great to be able to drop off our luggage early and have some rest in the afternoon. The place was very nice - it is always more fun for us staying in apartments than in some non-descript hotel rooms. The location was also great. The only issue we had was the first night with some people having a great time outside late into the early morning hours making it impossible for us to sleep (on top of being jetlagged) but it was OK the next night. We got to stay in Budapest also at the end of our trip in Europe when flying out and got to stay at many other places during our trip in Europe - and based on that got to appreciate even more how special this place was and would highly recommend it :)

This is such a beautiful and clean apartment with a super nice location - 10 minutes to food fair, ruin bars and 20 minutes walk to Deak Ferenc station, where the bus from the airport arrives. Steve is a super nice host, communication with him was great. There is a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, apartment is really spacious with everything you might need during your stay. Highly recommend and will for sure book again when I’m in Budapest!

The apartment could benefit from AC, because it’s quite hot in there during summer, but there is a fan in the bedroom, it helps. Also, because there is no AC and it’s hot, you have to keep the windows open, which results in some noise (like you hear the cars passing by the street, people talking outside) which could be disturbing at night. My guess is that there is no AC because the building is quite old and historic I guess, so in those kind of buildings installing AC is sometimes prohibited. Some other minor inconvenience that I noticed - the location of the sink in the kitchen is uncomfortable, was difficult to wash the dishes for me.

It is a wonderful apartment, spacious, airy and sunny, very well taken care of, and located across from a beautiful little park. The location is very convenient, close to the city center and public transportation. It also has a fully equipped kitchen for anyone who wishes to cook. Finally, the host is very helpful and accommodating. If we were to visit Budapest again, we would definitely choose to stay in this apartment.

The following points did not affect our excellent overall impression of the stay, but we mention them in case someone has particular sensitivities: 1. The apartment has a fan in the bedroom rather than air conditioning. The fan is effective, even though we stayed during a heatwave with temperatures reaching 38°C. However, given climate change, it might be necessary to install an air conditioner in the future. 2. The apartment is next to a street, so if you keep the windows open, you can hear some noise from cars or passers-by. If someone is particularly sensitive to noise, this might be bothersome.
