City Getaway 3 Bedroom Adelaide's East End

The location was fantastic. Directly at your door you have a wide variety of restaurants and bars. Super close to the tram and easy to get around the city. We had a the conference at the convention centre and it was really easy to get to using the free tram service. Barrie and Tracey were exceptional hosts and made the check in process personable and easy.

The grouting in both showers in the two bathrooms were full of black mould. The bath in the second bathroom was not clean and I had to clean it with hand wash (no cleaning products available) before using it The windows were exceptionally filthy One of the kitchen drawers was completely broken The 2 kitchen sponges looked ancient and super grotty (full of germs?) and we didn’t use them (no other products to clean benches, dishes by hand, provided).

Barrie was an excellent host. Very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He even took time to give us a tour of the nearby area and services. Apartment is spacious and comfortable. Heating kept us warm. Location is great and secure. Our car battery ran down and we were so grateful Barrie helped us without making us feel like we were a nuisance or imposing on his time. Thank you again Barrie!

A great location - we were met on arrival by the owners who showed s around the unit and around the lock area. The unit is fairly dated - but it has a lot of living space - a good kitchen and easy access from the east end of Adelaide city. Close to Rundle Mall, heaps of restaurants, a short walk to the trams and buses. The botanic gardens are also just a short walk away.

There were a few little things that we noticed with the unit that we pointed out to the owners in a note when we left but nothing major - it is a great place to stay.

Excellent location in the Eastend with lots of cafes and restaurants close. City centre an easy 10min walk. Apartment was large and comfortable. Perfect for a family or 3/4 friends.

The location was excellent. Easy to get into with vehicle and parking was very secure. Eateries were within very easy walking distance. Our hosts Barry and Tracey made us feel very welcome. Barry took us on a guided tour of the area to point out best places to go. Very quiet with a nice view from the balcony.
