Temporary Alicante HM

I was very happy with that accommodation. The apartment was equipped with all the necessary things even for a long stay. I had a feeling that they had thought through every detail to make their guests comfortable, and that was very pleasant. The location was another advantage. The apartment is in the old part of Central Alicante within a short distance from the most popular places, cafes, shops, and the beach. I enjoyed walking down the narrow streets of that authentic neighborhood gazing at the charming old buildings and watching local people sipping coffee and chatting with their friends outside cafes. My special thanks to Carlos, who was a great support and an invaluable source of information. It was my first trip to Spain, whose language I don't speak, and without Carlos my stay in Alicante would have been a great challenge.

The apartment I was staying in had the so-called interior windows, which means that they don't face the street but overlook the inner courtyard. I can't say I didn't like it. It was quite a new and interesting experience. I could see how many Spanish people lived and still live.

Good location

The tv only has Spanish channels. Balconies unsafe due to their rusty condition. Builders rubble on both balconies. External air conditioning units filthy. Base of shower leaking at corner. Noisy tenant on first floor left, parties until 2/3 in the morning, had to threaten him with the police. Lost 30 euros of our 200 euro deposit due the method adopted in transferring the deposit back to me. I want the 30 euros back, please advise.
