Elafi Penthouse

A lovely, bright and airy flat on 7th floor (with lift) so above the noise of the city and with fantastic views from the wrap around terrace. Two huge bedrooms and bathrooms plus living / dining / kitchen area. Our host was very helpful and sent us a number of good recommendations for places to eat and things to see. Flat is very convenient for the old town, food market and marina area. Free parking outside flat in certain spots. We walked everywhere very happily - it is a steep climb to the Castello!!

It would helpful to have tea towels to dry up with and/or a couple of dishwasher tablets for our stay. Kitchen is functional though very compact so fine for preparing lunch but not much more.

Elafi penthouse was a clean, spacious and comfortable apartment with a fabulous big balcony, giving views of the old town on one side and a sea view on the other. The hosts were there to greet us and were extremely helpful. They were also always on hand if we needed help ( which luckily we didn’t).

Spacious appartement, balcony- terras on 2 sides, everything you need ! Breakfast in the sun. Lovely. Helpfull and friendly host. Quiet at night. Good matress , slept well ! Good location to discover the city.

Nothing the hosts can change :-) Finding a parking spot is not always easy. FYI : You pay 1 euro/hour between 9 and 13h and between 16 and 20h. Other hours are free. Sundays are free. Recycling waste : everyday a different bin. If you don't speak Italian, the instructions were not clear. Ask the host what, how and when.

Elafi Penthouse was a lovely property. We were very impressed by the size, location and super cleanliness of the apartment. They greeted us to explain about the facilities of the apartment. The rooms are a generous size and well maintained. There is a beautiful view from the wrap around balcony. There was a good supply of towels, a washing machine, coffee and some other condiments in the kitchen. They also left us a traditional Sardinian treat, Pardulas, to try. We ate them. Delicious! And, in the fridge was a bottle of Sardinian wine! Antonio sent us suggestions for some nearby restaurants and for the many sights of Cagliari. Antonio and Tiziana are wonderful hosts!

the water pressure in the shower caused the water to cool down after a few minutes making showering impossible

Beautiful and spacious, modern apartment. Loved the big terrace with views over the city. Great central location. Close to bus stops to go to the beach. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and tourist attractions and we enjoyed getting our morning coffees and pastries from the pasticceria downstairs. Very helpful hosts as well. We would definitely come back again.

Host very friendly. Met us onsite. Large spacious apartment. 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Very clean. Bathrooms new and modern. Short walk to old town and mini market. Had a washing machine on balcony.

Initially on arrival I thought we were a little far from old town and the building looked a little suspect. Old style with old elevator etc. Furnishings very traditional Italian eclectic mix. Views are of distant water - basically a port. And views to ancient village on hill top through the general town so not as picturesque as I'd imagined. However, it grew on us and we appreciated the short 10 minute walk to the historical town and the amenities and cleanliness of apartment. Wtrap around balcony allowed us to have drinks on one side when sun was on the other. So alot of benefits and good space for 4 to spread out.

Lovely warm welcome from hosts on arrival. Great references for restaurants as well as bars.
