Palm Garden Apartment

The property is ideally situated close to the beach, bus stop into the city and local shops, bars and cafes. The apartment is a good size for a couple offering all expected amenities including stocked larder and fabulous cooked breakfast ingredients when we arrived. As we stayed at the start of winter the cosy dressing gowns were ideal. Fab sun trap from both patio and lounge we enjoyed watching and listening to the wild birds.

As the apartment is located lower ground to the main house there were lots steps down the side.

The setting was good , the owners were very nice and helpful and friendly ,

We both found the sofa not as comfortable as we liked ,but apart from that we like the apartment

Very tidy and well maintained. Perfect size for a travelling couple it’s a complete Appartment with a full kitchen and private gardens and walking distance to some really nice restaurants.

The property was super cozy and quiet. It sits right behind the hosts home, so you definitely have your own space. You get to have both views of buildings and a little bit of the sea. Apartment had all you needed: Kitchen, Bathroom, Laundry essentials. Town was very easy to get to. And the seaside was down the road. We appreciated chatting with their family as well.

Only downside is the hill to get back up the top of the driveway. Wasn’t an issue for me and my partner but, should be noted for anyone else who books this place.

The property is absolutely gorgeous!!! You have a whole apartment to yourself with a patio and garden. The room is spacious and has everything you need. The location is perfect for walking the beaches and there are plenty of places to eat. Cathy was an absolute angel and even helped me get some medicine when I had a bad headache. Not to mention the breakfast she left for me in the fridge when I arrived. I will be booking this place when I come to Auckland again! This place is a 10/10!

Big apartment, lovely fruit and breakfast goodies, great outlook.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very comfortable, quiet, roomy, well equipped, great breakfast items provided, with a lovely outside deck to sit out on. Cathy was very welcoming with great communication. It was an easy walk down to the beach area.

The kitchen area is probably overdue for a thorough clean, especially the oven which smoked badly when it was turned on to heat up plates.
