The property itself was in a good location and seemed reasonably practical.

Sadly there is a LONG list of issues we faced during our stay. Firstly, the address on booking.com described the flat as No20, however no No20 exists on that street. We tried to contact the property but faced no reply. Eventually we contacted an emergency number and were told it was actually No12. We received no flat number and needed to phone again to get this. The lock of the front door doesn’t work properly. There were cockroaches in the hallway and kitchen drawers. We rang the owner to complain and were told “it’s normal” and that “every flat in Seville has cockroaches” (however we immediately moved to another flat which had NO cockroaches). We asked the contact to move us to another flat, but she told us she was not authorised to offer us a refund or alternative accommodation. We waited 1 hour for her to call back without a solution. We made the decision to leave the flat and raise a complaint directly with Booking.com, who contacted the owner but received no reply. We are awaiting some form of refund for this.

The location was great and the apartment was clean and nice.

Good location - a residential area and short walk to the tourist area of the old town. Easy to pick up the keys and convenient ground floor apartment.

Visited in February when the nights were quite cold and the heating/aircon was broken. The contact person for issues does not speak any English. Although we told them they were not very quick to do anything about it and it was still broken at the end of the week; they brought a small fan heater instead. Tiled floors were very cold and clothes took ages to dry. The kitchen is badly equipped and there were small water leaks from the washing machine as well as from the apartment upstairs into the bathroom. There was a cot but no proper mattress for it and no high chair (although it is listed) - we had chosen it based on these baby facilities but I wouldn't bother.

Great location with plenty of bars and shops nearby. Local bus stops into the centre of Seville and the train station is only about 10 minutes walk away. Nearest local bar 1 minute walk. This is a very safe and friendly neighbourhood.

There isn't any natural light in the apartment, so you have to have the light on inside all the time. You can open the louvres to get daylight, but people can look in as they walk by.
