Chic City Centre Apartment With Allocated Parking

We loved everything. The apartment was spotless, very modern, and very comfortable. We had all the facilities we needed! We know where we'll be staying on our next visit to Wales!

Because the weather during our stay was really hot, all windows needed to be open so I could hear every noise from trucks to birds. It's not something that could be helped, though.

The only major issue was that the apartment was very very warm during the night meaning we had to have all of the windows open which didn't actually help that much. However it was also very loud outside throughout the night (sirens, drunk people walking by shouting and screaming until around 2:30m on the Saturday night and then the car boot setting up at around 4am on the carpark opposite the apartment for the Sunday morning weekly car boot). Unfortunately we all had a terrible night's sleep due to this. I feel as though both of these issues could be mitigated by providing a good quality fan in each of the bedrooms. Other than than that, it was a very nice stay.

Good accommodation very convenient for the city, station and the riverside. Roomy, nice furniture, good sized kitchen. Handy for shopping.

Not enough towels for a four night stay. One small bath towel and a hand towel each! The cutlery was rather poor and not sufficient had we wanted to prepare a meal. The grill pan and oven weren't clean. The shower needed a proper clean. Sadly, with the beautiful weather, the Juliet balcony windows had to be kept closed.

Good location, allocated parking space, functional and spacious apartment with most of the equipment we'd expect present. Overall we've enjoyed our stay there.

Some equipment was missing which we'd expect to be present - for example there was no hairdryer, and no corkscrew. What's worse, while the owner did reply quickly to a question before we've checked in, we've never got a reply to question about hairdryer we've asked during the stay. The apartment is on a second floor, with no elevator - nothing too terrible, but a bit annoying with baggage. The apartment wasn't brand new, which was ok for the most part, but some items weren't working properly - e.g. trash can would get stuck closed. The boiler was very small, barely enough for two people to take a bath/shower.
