The apartment itself, while compact, had required equipment eg shower, microwave, air conditioning, sofa, small wardrobe, washing machine. Location was also very good - links to trams, metro and buses. Burger King close by as well as a local kebab shop which was clean and cheap. It was secure with 3 locks in the apartment.

The problem was the apartment block itself. The door into the building was accessed by a code, but you weren't always sure people coming in/out were residents. Also, apartment on second floor but sometimes we chose to walk up/down as people had used lift to urinate in (on 2 occasions) and the lift wasn't cleaned regularly. The sound proofing in the apartment wasn't good - although you couldn't hear the outside road, you could hear other tenants in the building at times.

The cleaning personnel left black hairs in different places of a flat, and also small puddles of water in the kitchen. I also recommend having at least travel size shampoo and shower gel for tourists and washing a kettle before a guest arrives, sometimes maybe using lemon acid powder for this. It would be nice to open the blinds (jalousie?) before guests arrive and maybe instruct how to use them. The street was a bit crowded in the evening, so I felt a little scared when going to the apartment.

The location was great. Around 30mins to the river and nearby view points on foot (with a toddler) Hot water was available 24/7 throughout the stay and the heating/ventilation was good as well👍🏻

The checkin times were 3 PM exact which was a little bit hassle for us since we arrived in the morning. However there are good resturants nearby where you can relax for a while.

The apartment is comfy, clean, and has everything you need. It looks even better than the pictures. The bathroom is cute and seems newly renovated. The location is great! Its well-connected with metros, bus and trams from all sides and anything interesting is at most 20 minutes walk away.

On first look, going inside the building, it does look "sketchy" for the lack of a better word. But after spending a few days, I would say the building is just old and dark in some places. Felt safe and the few neighbours we did meet seemed nice. The drainage in the shower cabin could be better, it is at times extremely slow which can result in the bathroom getting soaked.

It was a lutle bit hard to maintain comfortable temperature, ether too hot or too cold, other than that everything was perfect :)

Great location in the center, everything was near. Cosy nice clean flat, parking place in the garage just a few steps from the house. Wonderful host and her friend in garage - I lost my wallet in the garage and in 10 mins the host called me on the phone - Melinda - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! - to you and to the lady in the parking place! I appareciate your honesty and integrity! Not very usual these days! I bow to you!

everything was OK - superb ratio of price and what you get

The place had exactly what we needed. We came with a one year old and they were nice enough to prepare a high chair for my child which was very useful. In case you are not able to find a place on the street in front of the building, which is free during the weekend, you will need to find a parking place that is around 6000 HUF per day.
