SLEEP'N Budapest Apartment

Everything as described. Viktor extremely friendly and met us on arrival to show us apartment and explain things. Very nice apartment with everything you could need for your stay. Free transfer was waiting for us on arrival and deiver very pleasant. Great location in an area a little away for main centre, however, lots nice restaurants and bars around area. Things to see are in easy walking of apartment. Many supermarkets close by.

Woken early a couple of times due to noise outside, however, not a major problem.

The apartment was spacious and well kept. Viktor was easy to contact, very professional and accommodating - he even put out a few decorations for my husband's birthday

The bed was comfy but it squeaked when you moved affecting sleep quality. The pillows were also too small - being square not a standard pillow.

Clean and nice. Really good location. Host is real professional. All recommendations for this place.

Taxi pick-up was efficient (some excellent conversations with the taxi drivers!). Viktor's wife - apologies, we didn't find out her name - met us with a warm welcome and gave us really good information about the location. The apartment is super-clean, very orderly, comfortable and well-equipped. It's in a good location for getting around: a few minutes walk gets you to the magnificent Parliament building, boat trips, Margaret Bridge across to Margaret Island (loved it there!) and then the famous landmarks of Buda, or further south into Pest and all the sights of the city. Lots of transport links but we like walking and went everywhere on foot easily. The area is also quiet, perfect for us, but not too far from anything we needed. We took up our landlady's suggestion of visiting Lukacs Thermal Baths and had an authentic local spa experience with hardly any tourists, maybe not everyone's choice but for us a real high point. Would also recommend a twilight Danube cruise: we didn't plan this particularly but it was stunning to be on a boat as the sun set over the Buda hills and all of Budapest's lights came on.

Nothing to do with the booking but we were delayed on arrival as several flights had to be processed at once and there was some queueing at passport control, so our poor taxi driver had to circle the airport for a while, but it all worked out fine with good communication.

Viktor was very friendly and kind and the apartment was clean. He showed us a nearby parking lot with a good price(2500HUF/day) for our car among other useful things. Also the earlier check-in was not a problem.We were 4 persons and we stayed for 3 nights. It was great!

Perfect location, very well equipped (kitchen had everything a common house has) and beautiful bathroom. Comfortable sofa and well decorated living room.

Overall the house was clean, but there was dirt under the bed and in some places in the kitchen (eg. if you move microwave). Some kitchen utensils were quite sticky/not properly washed. Old building, not very well soundproofed.

Could not figure out how to watch tv in English. very bright in bedroom.

Beautiful old Budapest-style apartment nicely renovated in a modern and functional style. Excellent location, less ten 10 minutes’ walking distance from Nyugati train station. Communication with the host was seamless.

The only point of criticism is that the bedroom doesn’t have shutters or curtains, which made it practically impossible to sleep after 5 am, which is when it gets light in summer.
