Own Budapest at Gozsdu

The location was very good. Less than 10 min walk from Astoria station. The apartment was located very near several nice restaurants/bars. But still it was very calm during nights. Very nice and fast communication with the host. Excellent to have a air-conditioner in apartment. I could definitely coma back again.

Small things that can be added, a shoehorn and a door mat. Little more toilet paper.

Great location, great host, great cleaners, great apartment

There’s a lot to like about this property. It’s really cosy and has everything you need for your stay. It looks just like the pictures (like we actually didn't take any of our own because there was no difference). The location is also perfect - you can walk to shops, restaurants, and pubs in 1-5mins. Train and tram stops are also a short walk away. Even though the property is on a very busy street, there’s still privacy as you need to first enter through the main gate and then walk to the back of the property where it’s quieter. The host was also responsive when we needed extra trash bags. We loved the wall that had some Hungarian history painted on it.

We all thought the shower could’ve done with a better scrub as we could see black mould which took away from the aesthetic and cleanliness (hence 9 instead of 10 stars). We would’ve loved it if there was another mirror in the living room (maybe along the wooden panels between the kitchen and dining table).

Although the apartment is in the middle of 'party central' it was super quiet every evening meaning we had a brilliant nights sleep. The bathroom facilities were lovely and we had comfy beds. The decoration was quirky and lovely. It felt really nice to stay here.

The stairs up to the beds are quite steep and there is no hand rail. So it was a careful walk getting to and from the toilet in the dark. As two people this was a good apartment. But I would bare in mind, the bedrooms are not private. Also, I do think 6 people would be a squeeze. If you do not mind sharing a space, 4 can fit here easily.
