Boutique Apartment in The Heart of Adelaide CBD

This is a charming older-style apartment in a prominent set of mansions right in the centre of Adelaide. It's close to everything. The flat itself is quite comfortable, and the owners seem like friendly and responsive people.

The bathroom is rather cramped, and the cleaners need to start using some fabric softener on the towels. The windows look out on airshafts, so don't expect to get any sunshine.

The Apt offered a free bottle of red wine, but did not provide any shampoo, and even after my request, declined to provide shampoo or toothbrush saying it was in their hotel policy regarding no personal toiletries. So if you don’t want to spend extra money, remember to bring your own. 2. The Apt was in a great location but no real customer service. There was only a person online but not at the site, and while she was quick to respond by typing, it was also unhelpful for the most part. For example, there was no warning that the washer and dryer were operated by 1-dollar coins only, nor did she know how many minutes a washer/ dryer cycle take. Guests had to figure out all those basic issues on their own. 3. The Apt offered us an early check by noon, but provided no luggage storage place after checking out on the last day since there was no person on site.

Older style apartment right in the heart of the city. Less than 100metres from Rundall Mall and tourist attractions. Initially it was difficult to access the apartment due to confusing information but the following day we were delighted to see the accommodation manager who was very good. Very close to Woolworths and Coles which are both located in Rundall Mall along with lots of other shops. Close to the free bus that takes you around the city, botanical gardens etc.

The information on how to get into the premises after 4pm when the property manager has gone home was ambiguous and details sent only hours before arrival which is difficult to access while on an aeroplane. The accommodation was clean and tidy and it was nice to arrive to some wine, milk in the fridge and snacks/ breakfast cereal. The step from the bedroom into the bathroom sits at least 5 cm's high, my husband tripped over it and so did I. Fortunately, we didn't hit our heads on the shower or have a fall, but this is a falls risk, so we rolled a towel across the area. The rooms are dark and not much natural light gets in. The bathroom is very small and there is no real area to hang towels. the bathroom door takes up a lot of space. The sink has no place for a hand towel and the shower has a curtain across it which allows water onto the bathroom floor. The shower head was leaking from the top (squirting out) so I placed a plastic bag over the head to stop the water from squirting up and around. The bed was comfortable, room dark and good for sleeping. Plenty of linen provided. Might be a good idea to let future travellers to know that there is a very small hot water system and it comes out really hot.

Could have bigger trash cans. Update booking.com description with the new name of the building. Although the number 21 was there out front, wasn’t sure it was the right place at night. Uber dropped me off in the wrong place. Would make it easier to be sure. Just say it’s in that building, but not under their management.

Location, great value for money and complimentary wine with nibbles. Will defiantly stay again.

The appartment has very little natural light.

Location in the central CBD was very convenient. Literally around the corner from Rundle Mall, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

Only negative was the first night it rained and outside there was a night-long drip-drip-drip onto reverberating metal. Other than that, perfectly fine place to stay.
