Basilica Apartment

Wow!. Absolutely beautiful apartment, lovely decor and very large & spacious. Excellent location directly opposite the Basilica..lovely view from windows. Attilla is such a lovely friendly guy and is very helpful. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Easy to get to from train station and metro very close by. Cannot wait to return. Thanks Attilla for a lovely stay.

Owner was very helpful and friendly. Apartment was secure, beautiful and huge. Felt like we were staying in a villa. Spotlessly clean. Lots of amenities. Perfect location close to all the major sites and short walk to the river.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I found it hard to sleep and I've had back ache and sore ribs since the 2nd night of sleeping there . Maybe I'm just not used to sleeping on hard beds. Also we are remote workers and rely on good wifi, unfortunately we found it very slow which made video calling problematic. Speeds were around 3-4mbps download and 0.5mbps upload.

Location is so great, house is in the center ak easy to access everywhere. Attila was so helpfull, he explained every detail about house and gave tips for City trip.

I was met on arrival and shown to the apartment, it was just what we needed two bedrooms, fine living room, bathroom and kitchen. The host had kindly provided bottles of drinking water and even a bottle of wine. The location was excellent with easy access to Metro, trams and busses. Restaurants and shops were on the door step and of course it was right across the road for the beautiful Basilica. Just remember there is a €200 deposit required on arrival.

The only slight downside was the noise from the main room outside at night....it wasn't a big issue and more than worth the views!!

The apartment was great. Everything was very clean (this is one of the cleanest apartments we ever visited). The rooms are very spacious and much brighter then in photos. The apartment is located on a second story of a residential building with elevator. View on the St. Istvan’s Basilica from the windows is very nice. The location is perfect - there are many caffes in vicinity and also a small shop that is open 24/7. Atila was very professional and helpful. He left us a bottle of wine as a present which was very thoughtfull (the wine is good). He was very patient and kind, although we mooved arriving time several times in the last moment he was full of understanding.

Since it is in a city center it was not easy to find a parking spot on the street. We visited in November, so it was a bit cold in the apartment. There is one aircondition for the living room and big bedroom and a heating device for a small bedroom. It took some time to heat the whole apartment since it is large. You need to ask for the second towel per person (you only get one towel per person if you don’t ask differently).
