Modern Apartment - Alicante

The apartment is extremely well located, being a short stroll to the marina, beach and restaurants. It is well equipped, has a comfortable bed, good shower and welcoming and informative owners. There's lots of wonderful walks in the area and the city is vibrant, clean and classy with great public transport. We very much enjoyed our stay. and will be returning.

The host was super nice, he gave us some great recommendations on what to do and where to go. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. The location is perfect, very close to everything.

Loved the location! A cpl of minutes walk to lots of bars and restaurants and the esplanade . The apt had everything you could need - excellent kitchen facilities, a comfortable bed and an amazing shower. Steve is a welcoming and informative host.

The bars nearby were very noisy late on Fri and Sat night but any other night was fine.

Stefanie is a great host with excellent communication at all times. The apartment was plenty big enough for two people and there were nice touches of water, tea bags, coffee, shampoo, conditioner to name just a few items available in the apartment. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was lovely and hot. The location of the apartment is great for discovering Alicante and beyond with the tram about an easy 10min walk away. There are loads of bars and eateries around but are quite expensive. To get to the apartment from the airport just get the C6 bus and get off opposite the marina. We also got this back at 04:20 in the morning and it's cheap. The only downside (which didn't worry us as we sleep through anything) is the noise from the bars opposite but it all goes quite after 11pm. The only other thing is that as you are in an apartment block you can hear the shower from above and on our last couple of nights was the heavy sound of drum and bass coming from one of the rooms but again all quite by 11pm.The beach is about a 15min flat walk away and is lovely but very busy. Plenty of places to visit all within walking distance.Overall a great place to stay. One other thing there is a small balcony but not big enough to sit out on, I would say this was the only thing that lets it down but if you are out all day it shouldn't worry you.

Noise in the evenings (only friday, saturday)

Generously equipped kitchen, I counted to four different ways to make coffee. Nice modern bathroom, good bed. Netflix included. Helpful owner/manager. The local neighborhood was lively in a nice way that we liked. Genuine spanish tapas bars etc rather than generic tourist stuff.

We enjoyed our stay and there's nothing major to complain about.

Great & efficient apartment, very secure & great location, a few blocks from explanada de España (promenade). Walking distance to lots of local restaurants & bars. Property has been nicely renovated & kept, comfy & had all the amenities required; it also had a small balcony looking out to the street. I would definitely recommend it!
