Maison Grand Place 2BR 3

Location can’t be better. We enjoy our 3-night stay at the apartment on top floor, which commands a great view of the square. It’s fun to see people come and go. A secure and spacious parking garage is just 3-minute walk away. The apartment itself is well-equipped with 1.5 bathroom, which is convenient and does satisfy a small group.

Minor problems are: WI-FI not stable, the kitchen counter is too small.

The location was exceptional. Windows on Grand Place. Despite this it was also quiet. The flat was lovely inside. Plenty space and a nice terrace.

The stairs were a challenge but worth the effort. We also struggled with the external door entry. The entry code never worked first time. It took some patience. The shower leaked onto the floor outside the bathroom? Made things a bit slippy.

The location could not have been any better! The view out the bedroom window and terrace is beyond spectacular. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby, along with all the sites we came to Brussels to see. The apartment itself is extremely clean and well decorated, and had all the amenities we desire on our trips - a very cozy bed, Nespresso coffee, a fridge, and great shower.

The apartment is on the third floor and the stairs are absolutely brutal (especially for one that packs entirely too much like myself). The apartment is worth the climb; however, I wouldn’t recommend it for those that are physically challenged.

There was a deposit to be paid which was not correctly communicated beforehand. Prior to the reservation and paying for the stay, on booking.com was written that the deposit is to be paid in cash at the place. However, after we already paid, another communication came that the deposit should be paid online via a link which was sent by the place itself As cash payment is limited. My card did not work with this link (probably my bank found it too risky), nor via Google Pay, which I signed to the hotel and asked for another alternative to pay the deposit (e.g in cash as it was mentioned in the policy on booking) however we found ourselves in Grand Place 22pm for 2 hours long. My boss needed to pay the deposit as you can imagine how many people I could find in the middle of the night with a card with 300 EUR on it. Although, we could talk on the phone with the place, they did not seem too flexible and wanting to find a solution. Of course, we already paid for the night, so loss for them.
