Only niggle - shower unimpressive against general standard of accommodation

The Annex was lovely and clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. The bed was so comfy and our whole stay was so relaxing.

The Annex is a high-quality self-catering pad. Over three levels, access is up narrow stairs so not suitable for people with any sort of disability. All fittings, finishes and equipment are top-quality. Good linen in the bedroom and a lovely spacious bathroom on the upper floor in the loft (would be great to put a bath in there!) Kitchen/dining is very small and we felt a bit cramped. Lounge area on the first floor is small too but adequate if just one or two people for a short stay. Consider putting in a cupboard for clothes as opposed to the stylish but impractical boxes on shelves. Louise the host was lovely and very helpful.

Kitchen/dining area very small but it is what it is. Very clever use of the limited space! It would be great to have a bath - there is plenty of space. Stairs are very steep (but well designed) and not suitable for older or infirm guests or very young children. Best to point this out to avoid disappointment. This didn't bother us however. Compared to other places we stayed on our tour around the UK, The Annex was a little pricey. However, we still enjoyed staying there.
