A lovely and comfortable apartment. A great deck to sit outside, comfortable bed, vey nice bath and shower. It’s a five minute walk from the train station and a five minute walk to the funicular to go to Certaldo Alto. The owner was very helpful. I highly recommend.

No lift / elevator, app 60 stairs to climb.

excellent place to stay if you want to travel on a budget. The location is close to the train station, only about a five minute walk. The town is quiet and peaceful, and there is a beautiful part of town called Certaldo Alto. You take a funicular up to the top and there are good restaurants and a cute walled town. this is a great alternative then staying in Siena, which is only 30 minutes away by train. It has a great balcony, which is where I took the attached photos Luisa, the host, is a gem! She does not speak English, but we got along just fine and she was very attentive to my needs. Thank you, Luisa!

The bed was a little too firm for my taste.
