Adorable private suite with indoor fire place

Clean and spacious. Kind host.

The location is fine and it is great that parking is right in front of the home. The bed was comfortable and I found the suite quite spacious for the two of us.

Having the "fireplace" come on during the night was disruptive to my sleep, plus the dog that barked and seemed to be moving around right above our heads. The thing that we were most concerned about is that there isn't a proper step at the entrance of the suite. There should be a step and and it should be built according to the present building codes. My husband stepped outside and reinjured his knee that was healing quite well from a recent surgery ( March 31/23). He said the pain was worse that the pre-surgery pain. This is not a good way to start a vacation. We had to get pain killers for him to use day and night. He needed a wheelchair when we were at the airport and couldn't join in the excursions with my daughter and I. He now has an appointment with his MD on June 8th. I am writing this information for the home owners as this is not meant to be seen by the general public. Please remove this from the public viewing area.

This little suite is adorable and very comfortable and clean. Elena, the host, is friendly and warm. We booked in Cochrane rather than Calgary to attend a weekend workshop in Springbank, and the drive was short and scenic. We opted out of breakfast at the suite, but there was a lovely bowl of fresh fruit waiting for us, along with tea and coffee, a nice French Press, and a microwave and apartment sized fridge. A nice touch in the bathroom was the host-family's homemade soaps.

Be careful with the walk alongside the main house to get to the entrance - it's a bit steep and quite dark at night.

Could not find any Kleenex or extra paper towels and the slanted side walk.

Nothing to like here

Horrible location in huge row housing development with no paved road access. Owners had no knowledge about the booking at arrival and scrambling to make the bed and put towels in the bathroom. No cleaning. No breakfast. Sent us away.

Very clean! Super cozy bed. Quiet and safe neighborhood. 5 minutes by car to the city center. Elena and Marc are great hosts who go out of their way to make you feel at home.
