Apartment im Haus Hanseatic mit Meerblick am Duhner Sandstrand

Für das Apartment steht ein eigener Parkplatz zur Verfügung. Selbst aus der 1. Etage kann man das Meer sehen. Das Haus befindet sich im Zentrum des Ortsteils Duhnen, viele Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen.

The apartment was beautiful, modern, very clean, and had everything that was needed and more, including some books to read and DVDs to watch. The welcome from Karina was lovely. She was very friendly and accommodating, and she explained everything well. The bottle of prosecco on arrival, displayed with two glasses on the table, and the free postcards as a momentum of the holiday were a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. Overall, we felt welcomed and appreciated. The quality of the bedding, towels etc was also very good. The location of the apartment was great, just 1 minute from the beach, and despite the fact that there were so many occupied apartments in the building, as it was German school holidays, it was very quiet and peaceful. Having a balcony as well so we could sit and eat outside and free access to a lovely pool and sauna on the ground floor, which were maintained well, completed the very positive experience. There were plenty of amenities within short walking distance ranging from a small supermarket, bakery, and butchers to restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlours. Overall the location is excellent as you can walk almost everywhere, including to Cuxhaven or take the bus, so our car was not really needed during our stay. We will certainly book the apartment again on our next visit.

The WiFi (WLAN) access was very poor at times and very intermittent, which made it difficult to stream anything online or use social media unless you used your personal data. We believe that this was a general issue within the building rather than with the apartment. It highlighted to us how much we tend to rely on the Internet these days, but it was actually quite nice to be forced to be without it for a while. We decided not to use the microwave (which we believe was also an oven) because we were not sure how to use it. It would be nice if instructions could be made available or left with the item.
