"Very barren and pricey flat, with a good view and location. NOT recommended unless arriving by car"

4.0

The location is stellar, and you have a decent view of the ocean, including the islands out in the Watt. In April, the sunset is only slightly blocked by the neighbouring buildings. First floor is much better than ground floor, but would be nicer to be higher.

This is a truly barren and unsupported flat. If you are able to drive there with a car bursting full of toilet paper, coffee, sheets, towels, blankets, et cetera, well, then you might be fine if you can afford euro 150 per day. However, if you are coming by train for a weekend away, bluntly, you are screwed. The property agents gave us ONE SINGLE roll of toilet paper for three people for two days. And there is no grocery store within 2 kilometers, so we had to find a souvenir store that sold TP. Food was also a problem because of this. Before we arrived, we also were forced to pay an additional euro 80 for sheets (that did not fit the beds), linens, and towels. You'd think that 80 would cover a few rolls of toilet paper and basic coffee, too - but it did not. The property agents at the front desk of Heinemann are quite nice and friendly, but do have limited hours. And as far as I can tell, it is the Heinemann corporate policy to be as cheap as possible with visitors, and not the front line workers, who really did do their best with us.
