Puerta a la Mezquita

Excellent location near the Mezquita, the river, restaurants and other sights, as well as good restaurants. The apartment was clean and comfortable, we had everything we wanted. We were unable to meet our host owing to arrival / departure times, but he was very considerate in keeping in touch. Taxi from station about 10 euros, or a half hour walk, not hard to find the way.

Really cozy apartment, located at the historic center, very friendly host, gave us very usfull information. Highly recommended place to stay, we liked it a lot.

Literally the apartment was on the back of Mosque-Cathedral in the old city. The host is very responsive, easy to communicate with, and also gave us some preferred places to dine.

The heating system did a weird ongoing sound during the night. Nothing too troublesome for us but some could find it annoying.

Location is brilliant and the management providing information were very good. The flat itself is good but there were issues.

The bed and pillows were uncomfortable as very old and need replacement. This is unusual these days. We travel a lot and stay in a lot of apartment and haven’t had uncomfortable bed and pillows in a long time. The light in the kitchen did turn on but gave off virtually no illumination. I assume they have changed the bulb as we mentioned this when we were there. I don’t know if they have recent guests who had a dog or two but the sofa bed was in a very dirty state. This is a problem with short stay properties but this sofa needed a deep clean and other get round it by putting another removable and washable cover over the sofabed. These issues are easily resolved.
