Apartamentos La Casa del Azafrán

Lovely traditional apartment in the centre of Cordoba within easy reach of all the must see places, shops, bars and restaurants.

We loved the property, but we had a problem on the first night as we arrived late due to our train being delayed, the host had told us the building door would be open but it was locked. As we had no data, we could not get in touch with him, we had to ask for help at a nearby hotel, who contacted the host. He then arranged for one of the other building residents to let us in, however when we got to the apartment, he had not told us the lock box code, so we had to ask the other building resident to call him again. Once inside everything was great, but there were a lot of problems to overcome to gain access.

Great location, very spacious room, and I loved having my own little kitchen unit.

Floor was very dirty. Luckily I found a broom in the downstairs closet, so I could sweep the floor myself, but even then it still felt a bit sticky walking around in socks. Cleanliness of bed, toilet & shower was good; kitchen utensils and sofa could have been cleaner. But I was mainly annoyed about having to spend my first 30 minutes in this apartment cleaning the floor.

Der kleine Innenhof zum Sitzen war toll. Die Dusche war toll und das private Ambiente mitten in der Altstadt.

Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr mager. Nur eine große Tasse, kein Geschirrhandtuch, kein Wasserkocher und kein höherer Tisch zum Sitzen in der Küche. Nachts war ein Kommen und Gehen im Haus, was jedesmal mit lautem Eingangstür zuschlagen verbunden war, weil diese ziemlich schwer auf und zu ging. Das Bett war für unsren Geschmack etwas zu schmal für zwei und war direkt am Eingang.
