Apartamento San Agustín

Parking is difficult, Roads are very narrow.

Comfortable beds and pillows. Good shower. Well-equipped kitchen, although there's no oven. The owner is friendly and gave us a map with tips. She also left an umbrella in the apartment, which was convenient because it rained all days.

There were pillows full of dog hair on the beds. When we complained, we were told that the previous guest had a dog, but that everything had been changed. The towels smelled like humidity. We had to buy a new dishwashing sponge because the existing one was unusable, we suggest leaving a new one for each guest. The dishwasher has a rubber between the laundry compartment and the door that accumulates water and dirt and needs to be cleaned (it wasn't). This comes into contact with the water that washes the clothes. The advertised parking space was not available and we had to park 1.2km away and drag our luggage all the way to the apartment, including through streets with stairs.

The location is fantastic. It's an easy walk to the Templo Romano, Jewish Quarter, Alcanzar, Mezquita . . . and it's in the old part of the city, where every street is beautiful.

It was hard to get the bedroom cool enough (the AC is only in the outer room). We recognize we were there in the middle of a heat wave, on top of the usual Cordoba August weather, so we don't blame the hosts.

Magical location in the cobblestone streets of old Cordoba. Short walk to San Ausgustin Square- with a cafe serving tapas, cold beer, and wine with a view of the lighted medieval church. Our favorite local spot.

Everything was enchanting- it’s just a maze to find your way home through the winding narrow roads, but that was part of the enchantment, finding hidden fountains or fruit vendors around each turn.
