La Panne - Eau Vive

L’emplacement et la proximité des commerces et de la plage.

Les lieux n’étaient pas propre ni les communs. Propreté a désiré Appartement pour minimum 5/6 personnes, se retrouver avec que deux verres à vin, deux bols, vaisselle manquante. Literie et canapé inconfortable. Les étagères de la cuisine et le four n’étaient pas nettoyées à notre arrivée. La terrasse dans un état pitoyable, à notre arrivée il y avait un séchoir avec un vêtement dessus. Cendrier non vidée. Les piles de la télécommande ne fonctionnent plus. Les clés pour rentrer dans le bâtiment sont prêtes à casser. Très déçu de notre séjour.

The location is superb! Very close to the beach and the town centre. Also close to other locations (ie Bruges), ideal for a day out. Communication with the host was very good. It doesn't say on the website but it has wifi. I wasn't able to register to dispose of the rubbish as it's done in locked bins on the street but the host was happy to dispose of it for me.

Flat is on top floor so a lot of exercising going up and down the stairs (56 steps). Cleanliness wasn't great as we found a lot of dust and a cigarette on the floor when we arrived. We had to clean the oven before using it as it looked like it hadn't been clean in quite a while. The shower drain was blocked so I had to empty it on our first day. When I messaged the host, they were very apologetic and offered to send someone (even after clean, we were left a a bad smell that went from the bathroom to the kitchen). The bin had rubbish from the previous visitors as well. Although the website doesn't mention the need to bring towels and bed linen, we were informed by the hosts (a few days before our departure!) the need to bring them. We were told there was an area nearby with free car park but all car parks are paid (7 or 5 Euros, depending on how close to the town centre you choose to park). We were expected to take the rubbish out on our last day and it costs 2 Euros to dispose of non-recyclable rubbish (that info is not on the website).

Nice clean property in great location close to the beach. A home from home has everything you need.

Property on the 3rd floor with no lift so would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Could do with some more comfortable seats as a family of 4 there wasn't enough space for us all to sit on the sofa.
