Apartmány Sharka -Šárka Justrová

Cosy and simple apartment, very cool temperature during the hot days. The lady was very friendly, even though she didn't speak too much English, but we could figure out everything together. We spent there 3 days with our big dog. We were happy to stay there.

Last night upstairs neighbors were a bit loud.

Very nice host. Great apartment with a balcony. Good location to a tourist region. Recommend.

The location is great, the apartments were fairly spacious and had terraces where we could have our meals.

The host lady is kind but does not speak any major languages so it wasn't easy to communicate. There is no private parking and if the few spaces around the house are taken you must park farther away from the house.

Location : Děčín and national park. It was clean

Small apartment not much privacy and it wasn't quiet because of that.

The host was so friendly and easy to reach. We used the barbeque facilities, which was awesome and the apartment was really comfortable. I had the best stay.

We have stayed in many places, but we have never been to a place like this. The rating is good, the photos in the description are not bad, so we decided that everything is fine. Unfortunately, what we found when we arrived was very disappointing. First of all, no other language is spoken apart from Czech. The host’s son met us and took us to the future room. The room is for four people, but we ordered a double room, so it was impossible to find out if it was just for us or if they would think of someone else to acomodate in it. Not only that, the room smells of dirt. Finally we got the host. She took us to another room, the smell was gone, but we were greeted by terrible dirt. Dusty surfaces, so that when you run your fingers over them, your fingers remain dirty. Hanging spider webs everywhere you look, it is impossible not to see them. Since it was already evening, we decided to grit our teeth and stay. So we picked up the cobwebs ourselves, cleaned the dust, washed the shower, sinks, and dishes. The bedding was washed, but unfortunately it was full of white dog hair. The room is located in the basement, everything is fine in the summer, but in the fall, when the humidity becomes high, the towels do not dry. Finally, water started leaking from the shower on to the bathroom floor, but we didn't pay attention anymore. And the worst thing of all is that for the 4 days we were staying there, a mouse's corpse was lying in their yard. It turns out that the photos in the ad are 5 years old and unfortunately things are much worse now. By the way, wifi signal is terrible.

Location is perfect for exploring the national park and is five minutes away from Decin and five minutes from two very good Lidl supermarkets. Assuming you have hired a car, the place is only half an hour from any decent walks in the park. Hot water was plentiful and the loo flushed well. The shower was powerful, even if you could only use it one handed - see below,

Converted about 40 years ago into a holiday let & sadly the last time it had a proper clean. We ended up buying bleach etc or we weren't going to stay. The bathroom smelt damp constantly. Not the best equipped kitchen & the place was just full of tat - it needs ripping out & modernising. Whilst the water pressure was excellent & the temperate hot, the shower wall holder thing was broken, when we told the owner she did, to her credit, go & nick one from one of the other apartments (presumably leaving that without) but sadly the shower head we had was not compatible, so whilst she left it dangling in the holder, if you turned the shower on it didn't stay there. One handed showers were the only answer. A simple fix & a real shame. The outside terrace areas were not useable but so easily fixed. The immediate sun terrace was lovely - once we had moved the abandoned/broken fridge out of it!!! but at night (when we would have liked to make use of it) it was useless because the outside light didn't work. When we told the owner (whose English was very poor) she made a pretence at changing the bulb but it was clear the switch hasn't worked for years so she then just handed us some rubbish solar light which didn't light up anything. There was a second, covered, terrace. This could have been lovely if it had been cleaned within the last twenty years AND wasn't full of crap - including (but not limited to) another bed from another apartment, a motorbike and a load of surplus building materials - along with leaves and detritus from years of just being left. The light worked though lol. The main apartment needs ripping out and starting again to make it modern, at the very least it needs a damn good clean. The place has potential but I suspect it will never get changed. Nearly forgot - she asked for cash (not stipulated) and wanted more than my bill suggested, which she did not get and complained about booking.
