"Very good"

Excellent choice for 2. Sympathic, modern tiny house, nicely located in old town. Close to the mercado and the sea.

Not good for 3. Downstair, cheap or missing blinds. Much too much Light from streetlights. Fridge very noisy and sofa so so as 2e bed.

"A very stressful check-in experience - not worth it!"

The property is located in the middle of the town - close to everything, but in a quiet side street. Washing machine and dishwasher is nice to have.

We had a very unpleasant check-in experience. The woman from the agency, that was supposed to hand over the key, was very late. It was first when I wrote and asked where they were that they told us they would be late. We were waiting in the sun with a six month old baby for over an hour. When the person finally arrived (bringing a flurry of excuses - traffic from Lisbon, had to pick up the kids etc) and we entered the house it turned out the house hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty towels, a bed full of sand and a smell of fish greeted us. It’s now 5:30 in the evening and the cleaning team has to be called from Lisbon. At this point the woman from the agency tells us she needs to leave (her kids, who are also there, need to go home). After a call with her boss she says we can have half the cost of the first night reimbursed - 35€. She assures us that the cleaning team will be there soon and the apartment will be ready at 7. We are now standing alone in a dirty apartment with a baby and my wife is very upset. At 7:30 the cleaning team is not there yet and at this point I had no other choice than to look for another place to stay for the night. I was also in contact with booking.com customer service - no real help there. We ended up staying at a hotel that first night. The agency reimbursed us for the first night, but the hotel cost us twice the price of a night in the property. We returned the next day and the property had been cleaned. The property itself is in a really good location. It’s designed in a good way, but the furniture and kitchen only look good on the surface and it’s fast clear that it’s only the cheapest stuff. The bed is very small and squeaky, the couch can hardly be called a couch and some of the kitchen utensils are completely worn out and can’t be used (photo). All in all with the cheap finish and all the stress with the agency, definitely not worth it. A very stressful experience. Avoid this place, there are a lot of better ones.

"do not ever rent this place or owned by “bmyguest”"

HORRIBLE . I Checked in on my own, as Luis was clever enough to give me the keys in Lisbon, so that he wouldn’t be the one to open the door. the place was dirty, dead flies everywhere: floor, sink, windows… like everywhere. hairs in the wardrobe, dirt on the floor, oil next to the kitchen plates, everything was dirty ! I consider it is stealing money from people to rent a place in such a lamentable way. I messaged Luis while calling booking, to say that I was leaving the place, placing the keys on the table and close the door (as he told me to do for checking out). he answered the cleaning lady would come the day after which is not an option as the place wasn’t in condition to receive guests for one night. I sent the pictures to the email address of the bmyguest company based in Lisbon (you can check the pictures on their google page, and see all the negative comments from other guests). I never got any answer from them. they never answered my calls. I didn’t cancel my booking as the host has to do it , otherwise the guest loose 100% of what’s been paid . I asked several times booking to help me resolve this, but the host didn’t wanted to cancel the booking . so now I just lost the money I’ve put in my holidays, my peace while trying to resolve this while looking for another place with my son in the middle of this unfair situation
