On arrival Elaine (cleaner) meet us and I noticed that the double bed did not have a fitted sheet, she helped find something to use, saying that she only did what the owner had asked her to do. Later in the day I noticed that:- 1) the mattress covers on both beds were dirty and should have been washed. 2) the shutter in the main bedroom was stuck halfway down & wouldn't go up or down 3) the walls in the maid bedroom needed a wash and one a paint as paint had been scrapped off 4) the items in the dishwasher had not been packed away & coffee cups still dirty - therefore never used the machine or any of those items in there! 5) the oven still had burnt food on the bottom tray 6) the paring knives where blunt & the handle of one kept coming off - no bread knife! the apartment not been up to a good standard (the owner needs to sort things out for the rental they are receiving)
PTThe property is very well located, just a few minutes' walk from Praia do Sul and also from the center of ericeira where you can find many restaurants and bars. The bed is comfortable and the best part is undoubtedly the view from the balcony, the best view I've seen in ericeira.
I'd just like to say that the kitchen should be better equipped for easy preparation of meals. It should be noted that the photos available on the website don't show what the apartment actually looks like, as I was positively surprised by the space.

Bad maintenance
AUThe balcony view and location was good.
Please do not stay here for your own good. When arrived after check-in time, we found out we couldn’t get in the apartment until hours later that night. No notice beforehand. There were mixed stories of why. After 3 hours waiting on the streets with luggage & surfboards we could leave our stuff but still not get in. Other than that, upon arrival there were dirty plates & pans, broken roller blinds so we could open it ip or darken the bedroom, the bedroom had no lamps/lights at all, broken towel hanger in the bathroom and NO duvet covers or pillow cases, not enough toilet paper. Very gross. On the second day there was no water at all & it took almost all days before someone even responded. They said that we had to fix things with the watersystem ourselves on the outside of the building? We’re not plumbers & we are on holidays… (wouldn’t want to touch things on a property that’s not mine & i have zero knowledge about regardless) We communicated all of the above multiple times via WhatsApp and Booking but very slack in replying. They did not care, weren’t helpful. I’ve asked for some kind of reimbursement which they said to they’d give us a discount (we paid beforehand) and now days later still haven’t heard anything. Working in hospitality myself for 10+ years, I know that mistakes & silly things can happen - but you can make up for it with excellent service. Unfortunately InnKeeper does not care about your stay or providing service. Do not stay here.
