Balcón de Estepona

Comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Lots of extras like soap..loo rolls and other cleaning aids plus some cooking essentials left in the cupboards. Water and beers in the fridge. The location was convenient for the marina….supermarkets…restaurants and bus stop. Owner was very helpful and gave us clear description and details for access to the property he was also at hand for any problems. English tv was also a bonus!

Great location minutes walk from marina, bars, restaurants, main beaches and 2 supermarkets. The area felt safe. The space was good and accurately described/shown. The balcony and bathroom are 'cosy' but fine for my requirements as a solo traveller. Access was all arranged via key codes, so there was no pressure to meet at a certain time, just good communication. A lovely, clean, convenient apartment, with a balcony and sea views. Personal preference I know, but the mattress was extremely comfortable and I slept really well 😴

The bathroom is cramped and dangerous. My partner slipped in bath and shower screen exploded - he was badly hurt. The electric tripped several times. The owner knows there’s a problem as they told us where the controls were before hand. They were in a cupboard with glass dishes in front of them. It was pitch black. The bathroom has no natural light so very dangerous if electric trips out. It needs emergency light in there. There was no cleaning or towel change for the whole week. The apartment needs a thorough deep clean. There is nowhere to put food etc that you bring with you. Cupboards are full of things you don’t need.

Property took a bit of finding

The pool area was superb and deserves a special mention. It was very clean with lots of shade, never crowded.
