Central Falmouth with parking & courtyard

Beautiful spacious apartment, spotlessly clean and in a great spot for exploring the town.

There was nothing I could think of to improve it!

The location was absolutely perfect. And the fact you could park right slap bang in the middle of town was such an added bonus. Every single room is spotless and well equipped. The kitchen has everything you'd ever need. My mum has mobility issues, and this flat has been perfectly catered for her needs, minimal steps to get in, and the flat has been designed with people with mobility issues in mind. The decor is charming and the colours are so calming. The water pressure is exceptionally good. The shower is so lovely. The beds are super comfortable, as well as the couches in the living room. The dining chairs are sturdy. My mum, who is plus sized, could sit on them without fear of them collapsing under her weight. They have books and plenty of board games to keep you occupied in case of rainy weather. My 5 year old especially loved the card and puzzle games provided. They welcomed us with a cornish cream tea, which my mum absolutely loved. They also provided fresh milk in the fridge and lots of ice in the freezer. There's a dishwasher and washing machine, and under the sink, there's tablets for both. There's lots of storage place to put your clothes and stuff in. There's lots of leaflets regarding activities in Cornwall and a big book of suggestions of foods and places to go. Super organised hosts, they kept in touch with us during our stay and made sure we had everything we'd need. There's even a little patioed area at the back, which has garden furniture and a bbq. There's even a fan provided, which was great to use on humid days. There are radiators as well in each area for colder nights. The flat is in the heart of Falmouth, super close to the harbour and beaches as well as shops and restaurants.

It can be a bit loud due to the seagulls and the forklift trucks (there's a warehouse in the back), but it's out of the owners control. The front windows looking out to the street would benefit from privacy curtains,but there are shutters and blinds you can use for added privacy. The parking can be a bit of a squeeze, but if you reverse park, it's not an issue.

Bank Place is a very homely and well located apartment close to the centre of Falmouth. A big positive is the parking space on the front of the building, albeit this can be challenging to get into at times with no drop curb, a low wall, and lots of pedestrians walking by. The facilities are very thoughtfully put together with board games, lovely furnishings, cleaning products, and more.

All I would say from a negative point of view is that the area immediately outside cab gett very noisy with Trego Mills and it's constant fork lift trucks going up the side street and Friday night was very boisterous with music and conversation from neighbouring bars going on into the early hours.

Could do with net curtains in front room over looking busy town street for privacy in the day time.Parking a little awkward with raised curb and wall to get in close leaving room for other cars.Might be noisy for some but we didnt mind.

Brilliant location and the property was fantastic. Wish we had had enough time to try out the board games or been able to stay longer.
