Heidezeit - Ferienwohnungen in Müden

Fantastic location - immersed in nature, including the ancient oak tree, heath, and a wildlife park on the doorstep. Historical sites, thermal salt baths, water parks, the city and more - all within a half-hour drive. The accommodation was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The host answered the call I made about using the lovely bbq space tucked in behind a barn - as we were visiting family, it gave us the extra space to entertain them - an additional 5 people - which was great.

Rather than dislikes, these are some suggestions; things that would have been nice to have, some easy, one not so . . . Due to our flight times, our arrival was 01.00 hours, and we were not able to get any supplies for the morning. It would have been nice to have a little hamper with some basic morning goods. We would have happily paid extra for this; could it be included as standard or offered as an additional extra? A handheld (or full sized) vaccuum would be useful - travelling with children, we couldn't avoid getting crumbs on the large rug - too big to shake out and difficult to brush. A welcome pack with German and English (+ other languages?) with - instructions for the washing machine and the entry system (we couldn't make the external door release work, so one of us had to go downstairs whenever the bell rang) - recycling and waste bin instructions describing what bins to use for what waste and where they are (recycling in England is not as sophisticated, so many recyclables were disposed of in household waste). - description / directions for the grill area (I wonder how many guests have missed that little gem) The accommodation has the space to sleep eight. We only had six because the accommodation has only one bathroom and toilet. One or two of us had to wait over an hour to use the bathroom in the mornings. Two of our party stayed elsewhere to reduce the pressure in the mornings getting ready for the day. A shower room, perhaps in the space where the single room is, would be, in our opinion, a great addition. Though it would take some time and investment and would reduce the number of actual beds by one, it would increase the practical number of beds by one or two with the sofa bed being utilised and return the investment in no time at all.

Schoon appartement en alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Wel een bed in de woonkamer,maar voor ons geen probleem. Supermarkt vlakbij en klein leuk dorpje. Wat verouderd allemaal, maar genoeg ruimte en netjes onderhouden.

De WiFi werkt eigenlijk niet. Dus thuis downloaden of boeken lezen.

Sehr schöne große Wohnung, sauber und alles da was man braucht.

Area is nice, nice to have a balcony. Apartment was very clean. There is a bakery and a little shop within walking distance and in general a lovely area to walk around. Definitely useful to have a car to get to other places.

Would have liked a hairdryer, freezer compartment and towels were a little small. One of the days the neighbour had very loud music at an unsociable hour.

Der Kontakt ist wirklich freundlich. Die Ferienwohnung ist gut gelegen, der Ort Müden ist wirklich schön. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Die Wohnung war für 5 Personen ausreichend groß. Parkplätze stehen kostenfrei zur Verfügung.

Es ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Boden und die Betten knarzen, die Fenster (v.A. Bad und Schlafzimmer) lassen sich nur unter großen Mühen öffnen, man hat bald Sorge, die Fenster aus den Angeln zu heben. Der Fernseher im Schlafzimmer funktionierte nicht. Die Wohnung liegt im OG und die Treppe und der Flur sind sehr schmal. Unter den FeWo wohnen Dauermieter, die offenbar etwas unter den FeWo- Gästen leiden, da es sehr hellhörig ist. Die Terrasse mit Grill, die es geben soll, liegt an der Wohnung eines Dauermieters. Ich weiß nicht welcher FeWo- Gast sich da hinsetzen würde... für uns war es ok, wir werden aber nicht wiederkommen.

The apartment was spacious and clean.

The apartment photos were not all of the property we stayed, there were 8 photos that did not correspond to the apartment we stayed in. The seating was not very comfortable, there was a "day bed" in the lounge with no cushions and the sofa was quite hard, there were 3 TVs in the property and we could only get one to work. The shower head in one of the cubicles was loose and when used water came out of the side, the pedal bin lid did not work

Washing machine available. Staff sorted out change in bedding arrangement.

Internet was a little sketchy.
