Loved how it was carved out and situated on the steep mountainside. Loved the animals and the whole Alps ambiance. Thoughtful and well designed use of internal space with great views.

While I loved the location it added some travel time due to the winding roads.

Lokacija na 1.100 m nadmorske višine z lepimi razgledi na dolino in hribe. Trgovina z živili, restavracije in najbližje smučiščeje so oddaljeni 10 min z avtomobilom. Apartma je bil zelo čist in dobro opremljen za prijetno bivanje.

Blaten dostop do nastanitve in nekoliko odmaknjena lokacija, do katere vodi zelo strma pot.

The view!!! Super clean and cozy apartment with everything you need. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Me and my mom agreed that we would love to come back one day!

Nice house, amazing view, calm

Wie der Name schon impliziert - die Lage der Hoamalm ist oben, sprich, man fährt gute 5 Minuten den Berg hinauf. Dafür wird man mit einer fantastischen Aussicht belohnt. Fahrt zur Gondel in Großarl, ca. 10 Minuten. Schön und urig hergerichtete "Almhütte" mit allem, was eine Ferienwohnung so haben soll. Vier Erwachsene in der Ferienwohnung für max 6 Personen für Skifahrer grenzwertig, aber man kann die Skisachen auch außerhalb der FW trocknen lassen. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Wirtin, wir können die Hoamalm nur weiterempfehlen. Wir haben uns "wia dahoam" gefühlt!

I really liked the apartment — it’s cozy, well equipped, clean, and well heated. The view is amazing, with nature and peace and quiet all around. The only thing is that if you’re traveling in winter, just in case, make sure you have snow chains for your wheels, as the driveway up to the house is quite steep and fairly long. During snowfall, the road is not always cleared in the morning, so if you plan to leave early, it’s better to have the chains handy. The hosts are very kind and always ready to help. The children were absolutely delighted with the mountain and the amount of natural snow.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I enjoyed everything, even the road to the house — despite the snow, it was very scenic.
