Swallows Retreat: A Country Loft Apartment

Lovely apartment and peaceful

Located in a beautiful spot by a pond. Apartment was clean, well equipped and pleasant. The owners were welcoming and helpful.

The single bed mattress was a tiny bit lumpy but was OK. Quite a bit of tractor noise early on Sunday morning, but then it is a working farm, so you have to expect that.

Swallows Retreat is a beautiful property, in a great location and everything about our experience was perfect. Sarah’s communications were timely and useful (eg, last part of the journey directions and locating hints) When we arrived, we found the property spotlessly clean, well equipped, beautifully furnished (comfy sofa and bed!) light and airy. We had everything we needed to cook a light dinner and with the blinds and door curtain shut, the space became cosy for the evening. Also, the shower was roomy, decent power and lovely big towels. There is a nice, sheltered outside seating area too.

There is nothing to dislike!

Everything, the location was so peaceful and quiet. Easy to find :)

Location, out the way, peace and quiet. The apartment was spotless, stocked with everything we needed. It was nice to wake up to ducks and cows. Super comfy bed and ideal space for someone like myself on a mental health recovery journey. We will be back.

Lovely location beside a farm. Felt spacious but cosy. Highly recommend.

Immaculately clean. Warm and comfortable. Shower was hot with good pressure. Hosts were friendly but not invasive. Lovely rural location guaranteed a peaceful evening. Overall, a fab apartment with a few thoughtful extras.

It was challenging to find in the dark -even with the additional instructions. A light on the sign for the property at the roadside would help.
