The view is absolutely stunning!!! The apartment is beautiful and well equipped.

The neighborhood is not an area where you can safely walk free.

Kids loved the pool area, with braai setup. We also enjoyed the walk by the beach in the morning. The view looking down at the sea was beautiful.

Had an unpleasant and cold experiment with the Lady that we met at the security gate, Chane. If we were going to get our refund money we would've turn back. It started when I first communicated with her on watssup, my mistake was not to introduce myself as guest and I wanted to enquire about some stuff during our stay, got a cold response from her and I immediately apologized to her for not introducing myself. Nevertheless following day we dove to the place, I think we missed a turn but we were close to the estate, so I called Chane and she was no help at all and to top it she dropped the call while I was still talking, we managed to get there, we met at the security. Then she asked us about our booking and the Ref number( I don't even recall her greeting us), which I didn't have because we communicated a day before so I didn't think we would need it, anyway eventually she phoned Erica and she got our booking information from her. There was no apology from her(Chane), she just said she didn't know about our booking( mind you, again I had contacted her previous day). Anyway she took us to the room, it was smelling dust, fridge was empty, not even water, there was coffee and tea but no milk. No shower gel, even small bottle. The place is next to the sea and the views are spectacular, But the whole experience with the host Chane, left a bitter taste! Could never understand how you treat your guest like that.

Everything! Loved the sound of the sea and all the dogs who welcomed us to the Estate. We loved them and they seemed to love us 🥰

Nothing it was a perfect stay.

The apartment and estate are lovely and we loved the sea view and being able to walk down to the rocks to watch the waves crashing. The apartment is nicely furnished and contains pretty much everything you need other than a washing machine. The estate was very quiet and peaceful.

We like to walk and I booked this because it was walkable into Hermanus town. However there are a couple massive fish factories next to the estate and the stink was really bad walking past these so we only did the walk once and got an Uber back. If you're travelling saffa style - ie the car is king and you do everything in the car - then this place is perfect for you. If you want to be able to also walk into town then you'd be better booking closer to town. Also it wouldn't have killed them to provide a free bottle of water upon check-in or let us know when load shedding was scheduled rather than we just realise there's no electricity.
