Small cottage located in the owner's attractive garden. Perfectly situated just a short walk from the centre of town in a quiet, up market neighbourhood; also close to local shops, liquor store, petrol station, golf course, laundry and car wash. Good base from which to explore surrounding countryside. Well equipped though we did not use the kitchen much as we ate out most of the time. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful owner. The weekly cleaning service was excellent. Secure under cover parking was available. Powerful shower with constant hot water. Overall, superb value for money.

Slow wifi and regular interruptions to electricity supply were the only drawbacks, but we understand that the wifi problem is chronic; as to the power outages, they are endemic throughout S Africa at present and there is nothing anyone can do about them. Neither seriously impacted on our stay, and it was not difficult to work round them.
